Recreating environment settings in Sametime 9.0.1

Identify settings that need to be recreated in the new environment. For example, typical configuration changes applied in Sametime 8.5.2x that you might want to recreate in Sametime 9.0.1 include the following settings:

• Customized Java™ classes used for LDAP searches

  Copy the .class files from the Sametime 8.5.2x Community Servers to the Sametime 9.0.1 Community Servers. You do not need to recompile the Java classes to use them with Sametime 9.0.1.

• Performance-tuning settings described in the Sametime 8.5.2 Tuning Guide.
• Single Sign-On (configured directly in Sametime, and optionally managed with products such as WebSEAL, SiteMinder, and SPNEGO)
• TLS/SSL encryption settings and certificates
• Any additional configuration changes and customizations that you implemented in Sametime 8.5.2x; you can create WebSphere® backupConfig files for comparison:backupConfig for Sametime 8.5.2x and backupConfig for Sametime 9.0.1)
