Using IBM® Certificate Management for ZIETrans applications

Certificate Management, provided by the IBM® Key Management tool, allows you to create and manage certificates required for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections.

For ZIETrans, SSL is used between the following:

A ZIETrans application and the Telnet server for secure connections.
The Digital Certificate Access Server (DCAS) and the client for Web Express™ Logon (WEL) in a ZIETrans application to retrieve host credentials.
