Save the EQQMLOG, EQQDUMP, and system dump data sets and contact IBM Software Support.

Contact your system programmer.

Review the HCL Workload Automation for Z message log data set (EQQMLOG), the diagnostic data set (EQQDUMP), and the system dump data set to determine the cause of the error.

The APPC task has ended due to an XCF failure or request denied by XCF.

The APPC task is not started.

Make sure that the XCF destination names are defined correctly and restart the APPC task when XCF is available.

The APPC task has ended due to APPC failure

The APPC task is not started.

Restart the APPC address space before starting the HCL Workload Automation for Z APPC task.

INITIALIZATION FAILED - SUBSYSTEM STOP REQUESTED

A stop subsystem command was issued while the APPC task was initializing. This caused the task to end.

The HCL Workload Automation for Z subsystem continues the shutdown sequence.

APPC TASK TERMINATED - MVS/APPC SHUTTING DOWN

The APPC task has ended due to APPC ending. All active conversations have been lost.

The APPC task is shut down.

When APPC is available again, restart the HCL Workload Automation for Z APPC task.

THE APPC TASK IGNORED THE FOLLOWING ELEMENT ON THE APPC QUEUE DQE

An invalid allocate request or outbound reply was found on the APPC queue.

Processing continues.

If the element was an allocate request from a user written transaction program (TP), verify the code in the TP. If not, search the IBM Support database for a solution at Support.

THE APPC TASK IGNORED THE FOLLOWING INBOUND APPC BUFFER APP

An invalid buffer was received.

The APPC task abended while processing elements on APPQ because the queue chaining is invalid.

z/OS recovery/termination is requested to generate a dump. The APPC task attempts to continue normal processing.

Save the EQQMLOG, EQQDUMP, and system dump data sets and contact IBM Software Support.

APPC/MVS INTERFACE MODULE COULD NOT BE LOADED

An APPC interface module was not found in the library search path.

HCL Workload Automation for Z continues, but the APPC functions as requested by the APPCTASK keyword are disabled.

Ensure that the APPC modules are accessible and restart HCL Workload Automation for Z.
