To start Diff Merge

Procedure

On Linux and the UNIX system, do one of the following at a command prompt:
- Type xcleardiff path_1 path_2.
- Use the cleartool merge –graphical command.
On the Windows system, do one of the following:
- In HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer, right-click an element and click Compare with Previous Version.
- In Windows Explorer, right-click an element and click VersionVault > Compare with Previous Version.
- In the Merge Manager, click Compare.
