  - Run Verse as a standalone app
    Beginning with HCL Verse 2.0, you can install and run Verse as a standalone browser app that is based on progressive web app (PWA) technology.
  - The new calendar event design is enabled automatically
    The improved calendar event design introduced as a preview feature in HCL Verse® 1.0.x is now enabled automatically in Verse 2.0. Administrators no longer need to enable the new design.
  - Find messages created within a range of dates
    A new search option lets you find messages created within a specific range of dates.
  - File sent messages to a folder
    Before you send a message, you can choose to file it in a folder. The sent message is saved in the folder in addition to appearing in the Sent view.
  - Manage mail rules from Verse
    You can now create, edit, and delete mail rules from HCL Verse.
  - Pull down your message list to refresh on mobile devices
    On a mobile device, you can pull down your message list and release to refresh the content.
  - Reauthenticate through a browser page after session timeout
    If your HCL Verse session times out, as a security best practice you now reauthenticate through a separate browser page.
  - New features for administrators
    HCL Verse 2.0 provides the following new features for administrators.
  - Internet Explorer is no longer supported
    Internet Explorer is no longer a supported browser.

Run Verse as a standalone app

Beginning with HCL Verse 2.0, you can install and run Verse as a standalone browser app that is based on progressive web app (PWA) technology.

As a PWA, Verse runs in its own window rather than as a tab in your browser. You start and stop it as you do other installed browser apps. For more information, see How do I run Verse as a standalone app? in the user documentation.
