Configuring Mobile Push Touchpoint

Select Mobile Push touchpoint when you want to connect to the customer through mobile push messages. Mobile Push is integrated with Unica Deliver, so you get connected to the Unica Deliver execution engine for sending mobile push.

To configure Mobile Push touchpoint, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Double click on the Mobile Push touchpoint.
    The Push Configuration page appears.
  2. Provide values for the following fields:
    • Name - Mandatory.
    • Description - Not Mandatory.
  3. Click Next.
    The Select Application page appears.
  4. Select the required application. You can use the Search bar to locate the required application.
    Note: Application selection will not have any functional impact because application selection is handled by Deliver while creating Push Templates. While sending the notifications, the app selection for communication will be considered by Deliver selected while creating the deliver template.
  5. Click Next
    The Select Template page appears.
  6. Select the required template. If there are multiple templates, use the Search bar to locate the required template.
  7. Click Next.
    The Mapping page appears.
  8. Map the fields with the appropriate Journey fields (coming from the Data Definition associated with the Journey during Journeycreation). This is essential as the mapping changes the value on runtime.
    Note: XID param is mandatory field to Map PushId type field in Journey associated datadefination for Mobile Push.
