Contents of the Summary Mailing tab

You configure a Deliver message on a tab that you create in Unica Campaign. In summary mode, the tab is referred to as the Summary Mailing tab. The Summary Mailing tab displays the current configuration settings as read-only.

After you save the message for the first time, mailing tab displays in summary mode. The Summary Mailing tab contains the following sections and fields to describe specific aspects of the message.

  • Channel
  • Properties
  • Delivery Parameters
  • Constant Personalization Field Values
  • Delivery Options and Status

The mailing tab also includes the following general links.

  • What's New Link to a list of changes to Deliver, presented according to the date the feature became available. Consult this list periodically because Unica continually introduces new features and enhancements to Deliver.
  • View Mailing Execution History Link to the Mailing Execution History report for the most recent run of the mailing.
  • View Deliverability Report If you selected a deliverability list when you run a production run of the mailing, Deliver generates a Deliverability Monitoring report. Click the link to view the report for previous as well as the most recent run of the mailing. You can select a run from dropdown list on report page to view report for that run.
  • Edit... Click this link to switch the mailing tab to Edit mode and change configuration settings for the mailing.

Channel

The Channel field indicates the type of message configuration. The options are Email for email messages, SMS for sms messages, Push for Push messages, and WhatsApp for WhatsApp messages. You define the channel when you add the message to the campaign. You cannot change this setting.

Errors and warnings

The Summary Mailing tab displays errors and warnings to alert you to potential problems with the messaging configuration.

  • Error messages display in red.

An error message indicates a problem that could prevent the message from running successfully. You must respond to proceed with the messaging.

  • Warning messages display in orange.

Depending on the problem, a warning might describe a condition that can produce undesirable results, or it might provide information that you do not consider a problem. Review each warning to determine how to proceed with the messaging.

The test configuration specifies multiple documents, or multiple versions of the same document, that the system sends when the mailing runs as an A/B test.

The A/B test summary provides links to preview each document or document version included in the test. If you select a deliverability list for the test, the summary also provides links to deliverability reports for each test split.
