Indicator for publication status

When you publish a communication, the Message Editor displays a publication status indicator in the toolbar. The publication status indicator provides clear feedback to indicate that publication is continuing and indicates when the communication has been published successfully. The status indicator also provides information about when the communication was last saved.

The publication status indicator green circle with checkmark: publish progress does not appear until the first time that you attempt to publish the communication. You must save the communication before you publish.

When you publish a communication, the status indicator displays the publication steps being completed. If the publication publishes successfully, the status indicator displays the date and time when the publication process completed successfully.

If the system detects a problem with the publication process, the Message Editor displays a warning indicator Yellow triangle with exclamation: warning in the toolbar. The warning is persistent and indicates the date and time of the error. Click Yellow triangle with exclamation: warning for details regarding the error.

If you close a communication after you start to publish and return later, the progress indicator continues to show the current publication status or publication warning.

Hover over green circle with checkmark: publish progress or Yellow triangle with exclamation: warning to view the date and time of the last time the communication was published.
