Support for List-Unsubscribe

Email clients that support the List-Unsubscribe feature described in RFC 2369 automatically provide some means - typically a link - to let email recipients request removal from the mailing list of the sender. The email client determines how to present the unsubscribe option to the email recipient. Deliver supports List-Unsubscribe.

Email messages sent through HCL Unica include List-Unsubscribe headers that comply with RFC2369. This standard describes a way for email clients to automatically provide message recipients with a way to request removal from mailing lists. This avoids forcing the recipient to report your message as SPAM, which can damage your email reputation.

When the message recipient clicks the link (or whatever unsubscribe method the email client presents), the email client sends a request to be removed from your mailing list to HCL Unica. Unica forwards the request to you so that you can remove the recipient from your mailing lists.
