Personalization with conditional content

You can define rules to conditionalize images and HTML snippets that appear in personalized email messages.

In email messages and hosted landing pages that contain conditional content, the message recipient or the person that views the page sees content according to conditions and criteria that you specify in personalization rules. Each personalization rule incorporates at least one personalization field and a comparison operator.

To create conditional content in Deliver, you add multiple content elements to the same configurable zone in the document template. You then define personalization rules that the email recipient or landing page visitor must satisfy to display the content elements. For example, you can present one image to male recipients of an email and a different image to women that open the message.

When you run a mailing, Deliver identifies the email recipient and displays conditional content according to the personalization rules that you defined.
