Source files that are created within the Content Library

You can add content to the Content Library by creating a source file with a text editor that is available in the Content Library. Use the internal text editor to create a text or HTML files as the source for a content element. You cannot create an image, video, and PDF file as a source file.

You can create the text or HTML source file when you create either static or dynamic content. In the asset editor, Create new file provides access to the internal editor.

Use the New File editor to create new text or HTML content or to copy content from other content elements, HTML templates, or HTML snippets. You can also copy text or HTML content from sources outside of the Content Library.

For example, in the New File editor, you can copy and paste text or HTML code from any file or web page. You can then use the editor to repeatedly modify the copied text or snippet to create multiple variations that you can use in dynamic content.
