Applying advanced formatting options for images and links

To configure advanced formatting options for images and links in a zone, you can define HTML attributes to supplement the basic HTML attributes. You can use any valid HTML attribute as an advanced attribute.

About this task

Advanced attributes that can be used to define an inline style are automatically added to the style attribute for the zone. For example, if you define background as an advanced attribute, it is added as an element of the style attribute.

Advanced attributes that are not used to define an inline style are listed on the Basic Attributes window below the list of basic attributes. For example, if you define an id attribute, its value displays in the Basic Attribute window.

Procedure

  1. Display the basic attributes window for an image.
  2. In the basic attributes window, click Add/Edit Advanced Formatting.

The Advanced Attributes window lists the basic attributes. The attribute names are read-only but you can enter a value or change the current attribute value. Click small minus sign inside circle to clear the value.

  3. Click Add HTML attribute to add a row. In each added row, you can enter a valid HTML attribute and value. Click small x to remove an advanced attribute.
  4. Click OK to save the advanced attributes.
  5. Click OK to apply all of the attributes to the image.
