Copying a communication

You can copy communications that have been created in the Message Editor previously. If an existing communication displays characteristics or content that you want in a new communication, copying an existing communication can save configuration time.


  1. Use either of the following methods to create a copy of a communication.
    • In the Communication tab, right click the communication and click Copy.
    • Open the communication for editing and click Save Changes As Save Changes As icon.

    A copy of the communication displays in a communication editor. Deliver assigns a name to the new communication in the form, Copy of <the original communication name>.

  2. (Optional) Rename the communication.
  3. Click Save Changes Save Changes icon.
