Text blocks (Not Applicable until version 12.1)

The Deliver Message Editor provides several ways to add text to personalized messages. You can add text to an email or landing page or text message by adding a text block to a zone in the template or by reference.

A text block can contain personalization fields, hyperlinks, and content references.

Adding text as a text block allows you to conditionalize the text. For example, you can add multiple text blocks regarding account status to a zone. If you apply personalization rules that display the text blocks according to the recipient’s account status when you run the mailing each message displays only the status information pertinent to the individual recipient.
