How to interpret the DBINFO entry in the data dictionary file

Problem or error: What does the DBINFO entry in the data dictionary (.dct file) mean?

Solution: The DBINFO entry stores field definition information from the database. When creating a new table in the same database, Unica Campaign uses the DBINFO values to create the table with the correct field definitions.

The DBINFO definition is:

(Source type / native type / data type / precision / scale)

Important: Customer modifications to the DBINFO fields are not supported.

Here is a sample .dct file.
