How to troubleshoot the date display format

Problem or error: The date display in Unica Campaign is not in the expected format.

Solution: When the date display in Unica Campaign (and/or the datetime format in 7.x versions) is not in the expected format, use the following procedure to troubleshoot.

Note: If necessary, refer to the Unica Campaign Installation Guide for detailed instructions on how to perform these steps.

To troubleshoot the date display format

  1. Verify that Unica Campaign is referencing the system tables correctly and that there is only one group of configuration entries for the system tables.
  2. Verify that the DateFormat configuration property specifies the desired format.
  3. Log in to Unica Campaign as a user with administrator privileges.
  4. On the Unica Campaign Settings page, select Manage table mappings.
  5. In the list of system tables, verify that the date columns of the Unica Campaign system tables have the correct format.

    The format for date columns is listed at the bottom of the table manager when you select a table.

  6. If you find errors in any of the previous steps, unmap all tables that use the date format, log out, log in again, and then remap the tables.
