Configuring the Unica Campaign and Acoustic Campaign integration

To ensure a successful integration of Campaign and Acoustic Campaign, the following products must be configured: Unica Campaign, Acoustic Campaign, IBM UBX, and IBM UBX Toolkit.

Step Task Details
1 Configure the Unica Campaign web application server to communicate with Acoustic Campaign and with UBX:
2 Configure an Unica Platform user account with data sources that can access Acoustic Campaign integration services. See Configuring a user account and data sources for Acoustic Campaign.
3 Adjust Unica Campaign partition configuration settings to control authentication and data exchange. See Setting configuration properties.
4 Register Unica Campaign Endpoint as a subscriber in UBX to download events from UBX. See Registering Unica Campaign Endpoint as a Subscriber in UBX.
6 Use the UBX Toolkit to create response tracking tables so Unica Campaign can access response data.
Note: If you are using Unica Campaign version 10.0.0.1 and above, this step is not applicable for your setup.

5 Install and configure the UBX Toolkit to support response tracking from Acoustic Campaign to Unica Campaign. See Installing and configuring UBX Toolkit for the integration.
7 Configure event producer endpoints and subscribe Unica Campaign to events, to support response tracking from Acoustic Campaign to Unica Campaign. See Configuring UBX for the integration.
8 Enable Email messaging in Acoustic Campaign for IBM Marketing Cloud. See Creating and sending emails.
9 (Optional) Enable SMS messaging in Acoustic Campaign for IBM Marketing Cloud. See Enabling SMS mobile messaging.
10 (Optional) Enable mobile notifications in Acoustic Campaign for IBM Marketing Cloud. See Enabling mobile app messages (push notifications).

What to do next

After these steps are complete, the integration is ready to use. A Unica Campaign user can begin creating flowcharts to select target segments for a campaign. For each channel, the user configures an Email, SMS, or Push process in a flowchart.
