Configuring the Unica Campaign and Acoustic Campaign integration
To ensure a successful integration of Campaign and Acoustic Campaign, the following products must be configured: Unica Campaign, Acoustic Campaign, IBM UBX, and IBM UBX Toolkit.
Configuring WebSphere for use with Acoustic Campaign
Part of configuring the integration between Campaign and Acoustic Campaign involves configuring the Campaign web application server to communicate with Acoustic Campaign. Follow these instructions if Campaign uses WebSphere Application Server (WAS) as the web application server.

Configuring WebSphere for use with Acoustic Campaign

Part of configuring the integration between Campaign and Acoustic Campaign involves configuring the Campaign web application server to communicate with Acoustic Campaign. Follow these instructions if Campaign uses WebSphere Application Server (WAS) as the web application server.

Before you begin

Before you perform this task:

Campaign must be configured to use SSL for all communications. For instructions, see the Unica Marketing Platform Administrator's Guide.
You must know the host name, SSL port number, and alias of the server that customers use to access Acoustic Campaign.

About this task

Follow these steps to import an IBM Marketing Cloud certificate into WebSphere Application Server.

If Campaign is deployed in a WebSphere Application Server cluster, you must import the Acoustic Campaign certificate on each node of the cluster (repeat these steps).

Note that this procedure requires a restart of WebSphere Application Server.

Procedure

Log into the WebSphere Application Server administrative console.
Expand Security and click SSL certificate and key management.
Under Configuration settings, click Manage endpoint security configurations.
Select the appropriate outbound configuration to get to the (cell):<campaign-web-app-server>Node02Cell:(node):<campaign-web-app-server>Node02 management scope.
Under Related Items, click Key stores and certificates and click the NodeDefaultTrustStore key store.
Under Additional Properties, click Signer certificates and Retrieve From Port.
In the Host field, specify the Host name, SSL port number, and Alias for the Acoustic Campaign host that customers are using.

For example, if Acoustic Campaign customers use https://engage1.silverpop.com:443, enter engage1.silverpop.com for Host name and 443 for Port.
Click Retrieve Signer Information.
Verify that the certificate information is for a certificate that you can trust.
Click Apply and Save.
Restart WebSphere Application Server.
