Autosync

Autosync feature synchronizes content created in a Content Management System (CMS) to an offer in Centralized Offer Management.

This feature allows Unica administrators to link the CMS Content type with offer template & whenever Content is created, updated or expired in CMS, it gets reflected in Unica centralized offer management.

Autosync feature is supported for all CMSes. The prerequisite for such a synchronization is that the CMS should send the create, update and expire events to the Content Integration framework and CMS specific plugin needs to be developed in Content integration framework to process the event.

Once the prerequisites are met, offer admin can turn On the AutoSync feature on Create and Edit mapping (Content Integration) screen. By default, the autosync checkbox is turned Off. Autosync feature supports the following:
  • Synchronization of offers as well as variants with manually selected content as well as auto-created content.
  • Synchronization can be stopped selectively for an individual offer as well as variant by breaking the association between content and the offer.
  • Published Offers can also be auto-updated as a part of synchronization (subject to the configurations). For more details on configuration, refer Content Integration Configuration and Installation Guide.
  • Offers can be auto-created as a part of synchronization in Publish mode (subject to the configurations). For more details on configuration, refer Content Integration Configuration and Installation Guide.
  • In case of editing a content, if no offer is associated with that content a new offer will be created with respect to that content.
