Troubleshooting startup issues, display issues, or crashes

Startup issues, display issues, or crashes are often caused by an incompatible video configuration.

Various symptoms can indicate an incompatible video configuration, including:

Outlook hangs on startup with the message Processing or Loading profile...
Display issues occur.
Outlook crashes.

Typically you can correct these problems by disabling hardware acceleration. See Technote 1998662 for an automatic way to do so.
