How do I manage my contacts on a Windows device?

Store information about your business and personal contacts such as name, address, phone number, and email address.

How do I... Action
Create a contact?
  1. Select the People tile from the Home screen.
  2. Select +.
  3. If you have more than one account, all accounts will be listed. Select the account for which you want the contact to be created.
  4. Specify information in the fields if appropriate and select the Save icon.
Edit a contact?
  1. Long tap on the contact and select Edit. Alternatively, you can open the contact and select the pencil icon to edit.
  2. Update the information and select the Save icon.
Delete a contact?
  1. Long tap on the contact and select Delete.
  2. Select Delete again to confirm.
Search for a contact using corporate lookup?
  1. Select the People tile.
  2. Select the search icon.
  3. Start typing the name to be searched. If it is not found in your local contacts, it will display the list of accounts you have on the device. Select your account to display the search results for that account.
