Viewing email configurations

As a server administrator, after you configure an SMTP server and the email address of the user who receives the server notifications, then the other users can view the details of the configurations on the Notifications page.

Before you begin

As the server administrator, you must have configured the SMTP server and the email address of the user who receives the server notifications.

You must be a licensed user to view the Notifications page.

Note:

Only the server administrator can modify the configurations of the SMTP server.

Procedure

  1. Log in to HCL OneTest™ Server.
    The Projects page of the initial Team Space is displayed.
  2. Click Manage > Notifications.

    The Notifications page is displayed with the following information:

    • The name of the SMTP server.

    • The host name and port details.

    • The email ID that is configured on the SMTP server to send email notifications.

    • The settings that are configured for secure communications with the SMTP server that uses either STARTTLS or SSL/TLS protocol.

    • The details of the user credentials that are configured to send the notifications by email.
