Viewing and running virtual services associated with components
After you associate virtual services with components in the system model, you can view the virtual services from the system model and then run the virtual services.
Before you begin
- Created a system model. See Creating components.
- Associated virtual services with components in the system model. See Associating virtual service resources with components.
Procedure
- Log in to HCL OneTest™ Server.

Click Projects.
The Projects home page is displayed.
- Click your project that contains the virtual services.

The System Model page is displayed.

Select a component that is associated with a virtual service resource.
The component details are displayed in the right pane.

Click the Overview tab in the right pane.
The details about the name, instance, and action that you can perform on the virtual services are displayed.

Click the Show in resources page icon
in the Actions column of the virtual service.
The Virtual Service Resources page is displayed that lists the virtual services that are associated with the project.

Click the Execute icon
in the row of the virtual service.
The Execute virtual service dialog box is displayed.

Configure the settings for the run of the virtual service, if you want to
change any of the settings.
If no changes are required, click Execute.
The virtual service starts to run. You can view the running state of the virtual service in the Active instances column.
On the System Model page, go to the Overview tab to view the status of the virtual services.
Click
to view the details of the virtual service.
