Enabling message tracking in the Web Administrator

You can trace messages using the Domino® Web Administrator.

About this task

To use the Domino Web Administrator to trace messages, you must first enable message tracking.


  1. From the Web Administrator, click the Configuration tab.
  2. Open the Messaging view, and select Settings.
  3. Click Edit Message Settings.
  4. Select the Message Tracking tab.
  5. Under Basics, in the Message tracking field, select Enabled. The default is Disabled.
  6. Under Access Settings, complete these fields:

    Allowed to track messages

    Select both of these:

    • Your name
    • LocalDomainServers

    Allowed to track subjects

    Select your name from the list

  7. Click Save & Close.
