openFileLog (Log - Java)

Starts logging to a file. This method returns an error if you call it on a server.

Syntax

public void openFileLog(String filepath)
    throws NotesException

Parameters

String filepath

The path and file name of the log file. If the file does not exist, the method creates it for you. If a directory in the path does not exist, the method throws an exception.

Usage

To write over an existing log file, you must set the IsOverwriteFile property to true before calling openFileLog.
