You use the Personalization element to define a new personalization rule or select an
existing personalization rule or content spot.
Procedure
- Click New to create a personalization
rule.
- Click Search to search for and select
an existing personalization rule or content spot.
- Select a personalization rule or content spot and then
click OK.
- Click Edit to edit a selected personalization
rule.
- Click Clear to remove a selected
personalization rule.
Important: If the "New" button
was used previously to create the personalization rule, the personalization
rule is deleted and cannot be restored.
- Enter the total number of items to display in the Results
per page field.
- Specify the formatting options that are used to display
the Personalization element.
Enter text, tags, and code into the design fields.
- The text that is entered in the Header and Footer designs
will appear before and after the displayed results.
- The text that is entered into the Design for each search
result field defines the format of each result.
- The text that is entered into the Separator field appears
between each displayed result.
