Updating message type

Use Management Center to update the message type.

Procedure

  1. Open Management Center Tools.
  2. From Hamburger menu select System Administration > Message Types.
  3. In the Search field, enter the Message type or Transport to search the message type for updation.
  4. Click on Message Type, Edit Message Type page displays.
  5. Update the Maximum Severity mentioned.
    Note: Minimum Severity has to be specified as 0.
  6. In the Transport list, all the transport modes in active status will be shown with description. You can change the selected transport mode from the available list. You can also search for transport from the Search field, by entering the transport mode.
  7. From the Device Format list, update the required format, however Standard Device Format is recommended.
    Note: To archive sent messages, check Archive message.
  8. Click Save to save the updated information.
  9. Click Message Type configuration to update the message type configuration.
  10. Note that this field is OPTIONAL. Some information will be displayed from the transport selected for this message type.
    OptionDescription
    Client ID Enter the ID of your Client.
    Client Secret Enter any secret of the Client for security purpose.
    Refresh Token Enter the token information.
    Transact XML URL This URL will be pulled from the transport chosen. You can still change this URL.
    OAuth URL This URL will be pulled from the transport chosen. You can still change this URL.
    Campaign ID Enter the campaign ID.
    Recipient Enter the Recipient information.
    Subject Enter the subject for the Message type
  11. Click Save to save the updated message type configuration. Updated message type will be displayed on the landing page.
