Tax - Sales Tax Codes

Use this page to create sales tax codes. A tax code is a name for a grouping of taxes that are applied to the same products. For example, all taxes applicable to groceries could be grouped under a single tax code called groceries. Then you could assign the groceries tax code to each grocery product.

New sales tax code

Type the name of the code in the New sales tax code field.

Defined sales tax codes

This list displays all sales tax codes that have been created. These codes are used in the Category Assignment page.

Set as Default

Select a code from the Defined sales tax codes list, then click Set as Default to set it as the default sales tax code.
