User - Details

Use this page to maintain details about a user.

Logon ID
Required: Type the user's logon ID for accessing the Organization Administration Console.
Title
Type the user's title, such as Mr. or Ms.
First name
Type the user's first name.
This field accepts up to 64 single-byte characters.
Middle name
Type the user's middle name or initial.
This field accepts up to 64 single-byte characters.
Last name
Required: Type the user's last name.
This field accepts up to 64 single-byte characters.
Password
Required: Type the user's password for accessing the Organization Administration Console. This field accepts up to 70 single-byte characters.
Password confirmation
Required: Retype the user's password for confirmation.
Challenge question
This field is displayed only if <OrgAdminConsole ShowChallengeInformation="true" /> has been set in the HCL Commerce configuration file. Type a question to confirm the user's identity. This field accepts up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
Answer to challenge question
This field is displayed only if <OrgAdminConsole ShowChallengeInformation="true" /> has been set in HCL Commerce configuration file. Type the answer to the challenge question. This field accepts up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
Account policy
Select whether the user is an Administrator or a Customer.
Account status
Select whether the account is Enabled or Disabled.
Employee ID
Type the user's employee ID, which uniquely identifies the user from other employees within the organization or organizational unit.
Employee type
Type a description of the user's type of employment, such as "Full time employee" or "Six month contract position".
Department number
Type the number that identifies the department with which the user works.
Manager's name
Type the name of the user's manager.
Secretary's name
Type the name of the user's administrative assistant.
Organization
Type in the partial name of the parent organization and click Find. A list of organizations matching the name will be displayed where you can select the parent organization.
Street address
Type the user's contact address in one or more of the address fields.
This field accepts up to 50 alphanumeric characters.
City
Type the city of the user's contact address.
This field accepts up to 128 alphanumeric characters.
State/Province
Type the state or province of the user's contact address.
This field accepts up to 128 alphanumeric characters.
ZIP/Postal code
Type the ZIP or postal code of the user's contact address.
This field accepts up to 40 alphanumeric characters.
Country/Region
Type the country or region of the user's contact address.
This field accepts up to 128 alphanumeric characters.
Preferred method of communication
Select the user's preferred means of communication. If no method is specified, select Not available.
E-mail address 1
Type the user's primary e-mail address. If the preferred method of communication is the primary e-mail address, this field must be filled in.
This field accepts up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
E-mail address 2
Type the user's secondary e-mail address. If the preferred method of communication is the secondary e-mail address, this field must be filled in.
This field accepts up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
Phone number 1
Type the user's primary phone number. If the preferred method of communication is the primary phone number, this field must be filled in. This field accepts up to 30 single-byte characters.
Phone number 2
Type the user's secondary phone number. If the preferred method of communication is the secondary phone number, this field must be filled in. This field accepts up to 32 single-byte characters.
Fax number 1
Type the user's primary fax number. If the preferred method of communication is the primary fax number, this fax number field must be filled in.
This field accepts up to 32 single-byte characters.
Fax number 2
Type the user's secondary fax number. If the preferred method of communication is the secondary fax number, this fax number field must be filled in.
This field accepts up to 32 single-byte characters.
Best time to call
Select the best time to contact the user. The preferred time to receive calls can be during the daytime or evening. If no time is specified, select Not available.
