Change Member Group - Demographics

Use this page to change the requirements a customer's demographic information must match for inclusion in the member group.

Gender

Select one of the following options:

Ignore gender

Select this option to include all customers independent of their gender.

Target the following genders

Select this option to select from the list of gender options. Select the check box corresponding to each gender option that you want to include in this member group. You can select any number of gender options.

Not Provided

Select this check box to include only customers who have not provided their gender in the member group.

Male

Select this check box to include only male customers in the member group.

Female

Select this check box to include only female customers in the member group.

Note: The available values may change if the UserRegistration.properties file is customized.

Age

Select one of the following options:

Ignore age

Select this option to include all customers independent of their age.

Target the following age groups

Select this option to include only customers that have registered and indicated an age range. When this button is selected, you are able to select from the list of age ranges. Select the check box corresponding to each age range that you want to include in this member group. You can select any number of age ranges.

Not Provided

Select this check box to include customers that have not provided their age during registration in the member group.

10-19 years

Select this check box to include customers that are between ten and nineteen years old in the member group.

20-29 years

Select this check box to include customers that are between twenty and twenty-nine years old in the member group.

30-39 years

Select this check box to include customers that are between thirty and thirty-nine years old in the member group.

40-49 years

Select this check box to include customers that are between forty and forty-nine years old in the member group.

50-59 years

Select this check box to include customers that are between fifty and fifty-nine years old in the member group.

60 years or older

Select this check box to include customers that are sixty years old or older in the member group.

Note: The available values may change if the UserRegistration.properties file is customized.

Annual Income

Select one of the following options:

Ignore income

Select this option to include all customers independent of their income.

Target the following income groups

Select this option to include only customers that have registered and indicated an income range. When this option is selected, you are able to select from the list of income groups. Select the check box corresponding to each income group that you want to include in this member group. You can select any number of income groups.

Not Provided

Select this check box to include customers that have not provided their income during registration in the member group.

$0 - $19,999

Select this check box to include customers that earn less than twenty thousand dollars in the member group.

$20,000 - $39,000

Select this check box to include customers that earn between twenty and thirty-nine thousand dollars in the member group.

$40,000 - $59,000

Select this check box to include customers that earn between forty and fifty-nine thousand dollars in the member group.

$60,000 or more

Select this check box to include customers that earn sixty thousand dollars or more in the member group.

Note: The available values may change if the UserRegistration.properties file is customized.

Marital Status

Select one of the following options:

Ignore marital status

Select this option to include all customers independent of their marital status.

Target the following marital statuses

Select this option to include only customers that have registered and indicated a marital status. When this option is selected, you are able to select from the list of marital statuses. Select the check box corresponding to each marital status group that you want to include in this member group. You can select any number of marital statuses.

Not Available

Select this check box to include customers that have not provided their marital status during registration in the member group.

Single

Select this check box to include single customers in the member group.

Married

Select this check box to include married customers in the member group.

Common-law

Select this check box to include common-law customers in the member group.

Separated

Select this check box to include separated customers in the member group.

Divorced

Select this check box to include divorced customers in the member group.

Widowed

Select this check box to include widowed customers in the member group.

Other

Select this check box to include customers with an other marital status in the member group.

Note: The available values may change if the UserRegistration.properties file is customized.

Children

Select one of the following options:

Ignore number of children

Select this option to include all customers independent of the number of children that they have.

Number of children must be equal to the value specified below

Select this option to include customers that have exactly the target number of children. If you select this option, a Number of children box displays in which you can select the target number of children.

Number of children must be greater than or equal to the value specified below

Select this option to include customers that have the target number of children, or greater. If you select this option, a Number of children box displays in which you can select the target number of children.

Number of children must be less than or equal to the value specified below

Select this option to include customers that have the target number of children, or fewer. If you select this option, a Number of children box displays in which you can select the target number of children.

Number of children must be within the range specified below

Select this option to include customers that have a number of children that falls within a target range. If you select this option, Minimum number of children and Maximum number of children boxes display in which you can select the upper and lower thresholds. Note that number of children that are equal to either the minimum or maximum will qualify for inclusion.

Household

Select one of the following options:

Ignore household size

Select this option to include all customers independent of their household size.

Household size must be equal to the value specified below

Select this option to include customers that live in a house containing exactly the target number of people. If you select this option, a Household size box displays in which you can select the target number of people.

Household size must be greater than or equal to the value specified below

Select this option to include customers that live in a house containing the target number of people, or greater. If you select this option, a Household size box displays in which you can select the target number of people.

Household size must be less than or equal to the value specified below

Select this option to include customers that live in a house containing the target number of people, or fewer. If you select this option, a Household size box displays in which you can select the target number of people.

Household size must be within the range specified below

Select this option to include customers that live in a house containing a number of people that falls within a target range. If you select this option, Minimum household size and Maximum household size boxes display in which you can select the upper and lower thresholds. Note that household sizes that are equal to either the minimum or maximum will qualify for inclusion.
