Transports - Transport Configuration Parameters

Use this page to define additional details for the selected transport method.

E-mail Adapter
Host
Specify the fully qualified host name. This field is empty by default. To enable the transport, it must be filled in with an active SMTP server. This can be the host name or IP address.
Protocol
Specify the protocol to use. The default value is smtp.
Port
Specify the port number of the server. The default value is 25.
User Name
Specify the user name to logon to the SMTP server.
Password
Specify the assigned password to authenticate SMTP server usage.
SendPartial
Specify a value:
True
The e-mail will be sent to valid addresses in the Recipient field, even if the SMTP server detected a problem with one or more addresses.
False
The e-mail will not be sent until all errors detected by the SMTP server are resolved. If member IDs, are included on the target recipient list only those members that have a primary e-mail address will be included.
Retry Duration
Specify the period in hours in which you want to retry the connection to the server without decrementing the retry count. If the connection to the server is lost temporarily, this allows the system to retry the connection within a specified time period. Once the period is expired, the retries count will be decremented as usual.
File Adapter
Location
Specify the full path, local to the Transaction server.
File Name
Specify the full file name, local to the Transaction server.
Mode
Specify either 0 for append or 1 for overwrite.
IBM MQ
Factory
Specify the JMS name of the queue connection factory. This name must be the same as a connection factory defined using the WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console. The default name is JMSQueueConnectionFactory.
Inbound Queue
Specify the JMS name of the inbound queue, used to receive responses from outbound messages. This name must be the same as an inbound queue defined using the WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console. The default name is JMSInboundQueue.
Error Queue
Specify the JMS name of the error queue in which messages are placed that could not be processed. This name must be the same as a queue defined using the WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console. The default name is JMSErrorQueue.
Outbound Queue
Specify the JMS name of the outbound queue, in which the outbound messages are placed. This name must be the same as an outbound queue defined using the WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console. The default name is JMSOutboundQueue.
WebSphere InterChange Server
User Name
Specify the user name for the system.
.ior File
Specify the name and location of the .ior file.
Sample Adapter
User Name
Specify the user name for the connector. The default value is userName.
Password
Specify the password for the connector. The default value is password.
Sterling
Sterling Configurator URL
Specify the fully-qualified hostname of the Sterling Configurator server.
Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite User Name
Specify the user name for the Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite. This user could have been created during the installation of Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite.
Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite Password
Specify the password for Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite.
Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite URL
Specify the fully-qualified hostname and port number of the Sterling Configurator server.
Visual Modeler User Name
Specify the user name for Visual Modeler.
Visual Modeler Password
Specify the password for the Visual Modeler User Name.
Visual Modeler URL
Specify the fully-qualified hostname and port number of the Visual Modeler server.
