Shipping - Define Charge Details

Use this page to define new charges for your store or to change existing charges. Shipping charges are the monetary amounts that you charge your customers to ship their orders.

Name

Required: Type the name of the new charge.

Note: If you are changing a charge you cannot change the existing name.

Description

Type a brief description of the charge.

Time period

Select one of the following options:

Always

Select Always if the charge will always be in effect.

During a specified period:

Select During a specified period to define when the charge will be in effect. When you select this option, the following fields display:

Start

Type the Year, Month, and Day in the corresponding fields, that the charge takes effect.

End

Type the Year, Month, and Day in the corresponding fields, that the charge ends.

Define fulfillment options

Select the Define fulfillment options check box to define the fulfillment options for the charge. Fulfillment options include the fulfillment center that will process the order, the jurisdiction the fulfillment option covers, and the shipping mode that will ship the order. If you have defined more than one shipping mode, in order to specify which shipping mode to use, you must select the Define fulfillment options check box. If you have defined more than one shipping mode and you do not select this check box, this shipping charge will apply to all shipping modes.
