RFQs
This page allows sellers to manage RFQ requests. The list can be sorted by RFQ name, status, creation time, submission date, and end date.
- View
- Select the status of the RFQ requests you want to see in the list. The choices are as follows:
- All
- Displays all RFQ requests, regardless of state.
- Active
- Displays RFQ requests that a buyer has submitted to the seller. RFQs in active state are open for responses or any changes.
- Closed
- Displays all RFQs that are closed. RFQs in closed state cannot be reopened.
- Next Round
- Displays all RFQs that have been addressed and are ready for the next round. The next round for an RFQ can be responding to a counter offer, completing the RFQ, and so on.
- Complete
- Displays all RFQs that have been addressed and are complete. Winners are selected and notified at this point.
- RFQ Name
- The name of the RFQ request.
- Customer Logon ID
- The unique logon ID for the customer or buyer that initiated this RFQ request. Click the logon ID to view a summary and contact information about this customer.
- Description
- A brief description of or reason for the RFQ request.
- Status
- The current state of an RFQ request in the RFQ process. The supported statuses are active, closed, next round, and complete.
- Creation Date
- The date and time that the RFQ request was created.
- Submission Date
- The date and time the buyer submitted the RFQ request to the seller. This may be the same as the creation time and date, but does not have to be the same.
- End Date
- The date and time that the RFQ request is no longer valid.
- Closed Date
- The date and time after which no responses to the RFQ will be accepted by the buyer.
- Round
- The negotiation round that the RFQ is currently in. For example, if the RFQ request has completed several rounds of negotiation between the buyer and seller, this can be indicated here by a number, such as "3" to indicate the RFQ is now is round 3 of negotiations.
- Summary
- Click this button to display details of the selected RFQ request.
- Find
- Click this button to search for RFQ requests.
- Respond
- Click this button to initiate the RFQ response process for the selected request, starting with the General page of the RFQ response creation notebook.
- Responses
- Click this button to display your responses for the selected RFQ request.
- RFQ in Previous Round
- Click this button to review RFQ information if this RFQ has been part of at least one other round of negotiations.
- Response in Previous Round
- Click this button to review the responses to any previous rounds of negotiations for this RFQ.
- RFQ in Next Round
- Click this button to move the RFQ to the next round.
- Response in Next Round
- Click this button review the responses to the next round of negotiations for this RFQ.
- Customer Summary
- Click this button to review general and contact information about the customer who originated this RFQ request.
