New Member Group - Criteria

Use this page to specify the criteria or details used to define a member group.

Based on organizations and roles

Select this option to define a member group based on a combination of users' organizations and roles. If you select this option, you can specify information about organizations and roles, as follows:

Select organization

Select the name of the organization or organizational unit to which the member group applies. For example, Supplier Organization.

Select role

Select the role to which the member group applies. For example, Customer Service Representative.

For organization

Select this option to indicate that the selected role is within a specific organization. For example, if the selected role is a Buyer and this check box is selected, then users included in the member group must be assigned the Buyer role for their organization as opposed to the Buyer role in general. Consider this check box acting as a wildcard: instead of specifying that users in Organization A must have a Buyer role for Organization A, or that users for Organization B must have the Buyer role in Org B and so on, this check box allows you to specify that users must have the buyer role in their organization. (This option is not available for all member group types.)

Selected roles and organizations

Lists the organization and role combinations, such as Customer Service Representative - Supplier Organization, that can be used to define the member group.

Based on registration status

Select this option to define a member group based on users' registration status. (This option is not available for all member group types.)

Registration status

Select users' registration status from this list.

Based on customer information

Select this option to define a member group based on customer information such as registration details (registered customers only), demographics (registered customers only), and address. (This option is not available for all member group types.)
