Process Orders

Once payment for an order has been processed and approved, use this dialog to review a list of orders and their individual products to be released to fulfillment. Within this dialog, for each product within an order, specify whether the product should be processed and released to a shopping cart associated with the channel store (that is, Commerce Plaza), or whether the product should be released to a fulfillment center.

Order Number

The order number that uniquely identifies the customer's order. Each order can contain one or more products, which are listed under each order number in this list. Note that if an order contains multiple products, some products may not be visible on the current page and More products for this order on the next page is displayed at the bottom of the list. To see the rest of the products for the order, click Next at the top of the list.

Product

A short description of the product selected for the order. For example, for a ThinkPad, the product description might be "ThinkPad T23, Pentium III, 384 RAM, with carrying case".

SKU

The stock keeping unit (SKU) for the product, which uniquely identifies the product.

Quantity

The quantity of a particular product within the order.

Release to

Lists all the local fulfillment centers that can be used to fulfill the product, and if the product can be fulfilled by the channel store, this list displays the name of the channel store. Select how you want to release each product for fulfillment, as follows:

• To use the shopping cart associated with the channel store, select Commerce Plaza from the list to continue to the Select Shopping Cart Option dialog.
• To use a fulfillment center not associated with the channel store, select the fulfillment center's name from this list.

Release

Click this button to release the selected products for fulfillment. If you selected to use a shopping cart on the channel store site, the Select Shopping Cart Option dialog is displayed after you complete this dialog. In the Select Shopping Cart Option dialog you can specify how products are to be released to one or more shopping carts on the channel store site. After the products have been added to the shopping cart (or carts) on the channel store site, you can generate pick batches of released products by selecting Pick Batches from the Operations menu or Logistics menu, and then you can complete the shopping process from the channel store site.
