Find Orders
Use this dialog to search for an order. At least one field must be specified. Note that for many
of the search fields, in addition to typing the information that you want to search on, you can also
select the type of search that you want the system to perform from the list beside the field. To
search for the logon ID johnsmith
, for example, note the following scenarios:
- If you type

and select Match case, beginning with, the system searches for matches starting with "john"; for example, the system might find "john",johnbrown

- Order number
- Type the order number that uniquely identifies the order in this field.
- Customer logon ID
- Type the store logon ID for the customer that has placed the order in this field. Note: If this search dialog was launched by clicking Find Orders from the orders list for a particular customer, the customer logon ID is pre-filled with the customer's logon ID for the store.
- Advanced search link
- Click on this link to use advanced search options.
Advanced search
Use advanced search options such as searching by order status, account name, and important order dates. Advanced search contains the same fields as simple search, and many additional fields. Use one or more of the following advanced options:
- Order status
- Select the status of the order.
- Order item status
- Select the status of the order item, such as a submitted or shipped order item.
- Order type
- Select the type of order from the list.
- Contains SKU
- Type all or part of the stock-keeping unit (SKU) of a product in the order for which you are searching.
- Blocked status
- Select whether the order status is blocked.
- Blocked reason
- This list displays only if you select "Blocked" from the Blocked Status list. Select one of the reasons displayed in the list. If you do not select a blocked reason, all orders with any type of block is returned.
- Find orders that have not been fulfilled
- Select this option to search for all orders that have not yet been fulfilled.
- Fulfillment center
- Type the name of the fulfillment center for this order.
- The last 5 digits of the payment account number
- Type the last five digits of the payment account number.
Total accounts currently showing
Displays the number of accounts from which you can select for this order.
- Select account
- Select the account name of the order for which you are searching.
- Search for accounts
- Type all or part of the account name.
- Find Account
- Click this button to search for the account.
- Created
- The start and end dates between which the order was created. The start and end dates are set by entering valid data for the year (four digits), month, day, and time (24-hour clock). Optionally, you can use the calendar tool to enter the date. The date and time are based on the current system time for the machine where Transaction server is installed.
- Modified
- The start and end dates between which the order was last updated. The start and end dates are set by entering valid data for the year (four digits), month, day, and time (24-hour clock). Optionally, you can use the calendar tool to enter the date. The date and time are based on the current system time for the machine where Transaction server is installed.
- First name
- Type all or part of the first name of the customer whose order for which you are searching. This field accepts up to 64 characters.
- Last name
- Type all or part of the last name of the customer whose order for which you are searching. This field accepts up to 64 characters.
- Address
- Type all or part of the billing or shipping address of the customer whose order for which you are searching. This field accepts up to 50 alphanumeric characters.
- City
- Type all or part of the city in the billing or shipping address of the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- ZIP/Postal code
- Type all or part of the ZIP code or postal code of the billing or shipping address of the customer whose order for which you are searching. This field accepts up to 40 alphanumeric characters.
- E-mail address
- Type all or part of the primary e-mail address of the customer whose order for which you are searching. This field accepts up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
- Phone number
- Type all or part of the primary telephone number of the customer whose order for which you are searching. This field accepts up to 32 characters.
- Billing first name
- Type all or part of the first name of the customer billed for the order for which you are searching.
- Billing last name
- Type all or part of the last name of the customer billed for the order for which you are searching.
- Billing address
- Type all or part of the billing street address of the order for which you are searching.
- Billing city
- Type all or part of the city in the billing address of the order for which you are searching.
- Billing ZIP/postal code
- Type all or part of the ZIP or postal code of the billing address of the order for which you are searching.
- Shipping first name
- Type all or part of the first name of the customer to which the order for which you are searching was or is to be shipped.
- Shipping last name
- Type all or part of the last name of the customer to which the order for which you are searching was or is to be shipped.
- Shipping address
- Type all or part of the shipping street address of the order for which you are searching.
- Shipping city
- Type all or part of the city in the shipping address of the order for which you are searching.
- Shipping ZIP/postal code
- Type all or part of the ZIP or postal code of the shipping address of the order for which you are searching.
- Organization name
- Type all or part of the name of the organization to which the order for which you are searching belongs.
- Maximum number of matches to display
- Type the maximum number of search results that you want the system to display.
- Find
- Click this button to search for an order based on the search criteria. If one or more fields are specified, the system performs a fuzzy search and a list of orders that match the search criteria displays.
