Use this page to provide a customer's contact information when registering a new customer to a store.

Preferred method of communication
Select the customer's preferred means of communication. If the preferred method of communication is unknown, select Not available.
E-mail address 1
Type the customer's primary e-mail address. If the customer's preferred method of communication is their primary e-mail address, this field must be filled in. If you append comments to orders or returns, the comments will only be sent to the customer if an e-mail address is specified here. This field accepts up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
E-mail address 2
Type the customer's secondary e-mail address. If the customer's preferred method of communication is their secondary e-mail address, this field must be filled in. If you append comments to orders or returns, the comments will be sent to the customer based on the e-mail address specified in the E-mail address 1 field. If no address is provided for that field, the system uses the e-mail address specified here. This field accepts up to 254 alphanumeric characters.
Phone number 1, Type, Listed
Indicate the customer's phone number and details as follows:
  1. Type the customer's primary phone number. If the customer's preferred method of communication is their primary phone number, this field must be filled in. This field accepts up to 32 characters.
  2. Select the phone type, such as Teletypewriter for hearing impaired customers.
  3. Select whether or not the phone number is listed.
Phone number 2, Type, Listed
Indicate the customer's phone number and details as follows:
  1. Type the customer's secondary phone number. If the customer's preferred method of communication is their secondary phone number, this field must be filled in. This field accepts up to 32 characters.
  2. Select the phone type, such as Teletypewriter for hearing impaired customers.
  3. Select whether or not the phone number is listed.
Fax number 1
Type the customer's primary fax number. If the customer's preferred method of communication is their primary fax number, this fax number field must be filled in. This field accepts up to 32 characters.
Fax number 2
Type the customer's secondary fax number. If the customer's preferred method of communication is their primary fax number, this fax number field must be filled in. This field accepts up to 32 characters.
Best time to call
Select the best time to contact the customer. The customer's preferred time to receive calls can be during the daytime or evening. If the best time to call is unknown, select Not available.
Include promotional material with shipments
Select whether or not promotional information should be shipped to the customer.
