Configuration Manager - Attachment

Use the Attachment user interface to create and modify attachment commands and their properties. For details on each attachment type, search for the name of the command in the IBM Knowledge Center.

Creating an attachment command

To create a new attachment command:
  1. Right-click the Attachment folder icon on the left-hand panel of the Configuration Manager and select Create command.
  2. In the Command Name field, enter a name for the command.
  3. In the Maximum Upload Size(Bytes) field, enter a value to control the maximum size of the attachment.
  4. In the Supported File Extensions field, enter a comma-delimited list of file extensions you want that command to accept. Do not use commas or asterisks to denote the file extensions. For example, for an image attachment type, you could enter jpg,gif,bmp.
  5. Select the Enable Upload Return URL check box if you want the redirect URL to be returned in the upload command's response details after the upload completes.
  6. Click Finish.

Modifying an attachment command

To modify an attachment command:
  1. Select the attachment that you want to modify.
  2. In the Maximum Upload Size(Bytes) field, enter a value to control the maximum size of the attachment.
  3. In the Supported File Extensions field, enter a comma-delimited list of file extensions you want that command to accept. Do not use commas or asterisks to denote the file extensions. For example, for an image attachment type, you could enter jpg,gif,bmp.
  4. Click Apply.

Removing an attachment command

To remove an attachment command:
  1. Right-click the attachment command that you want to remove.
  2. Click Remove Command.
