Activating or deactivating a promotion

Promotions can exist in the store in active or inactive states. You can only edit inactive promotions.

Be aware that deactivating a promotion could affect customers who have ordered; then change their order. If a promotion is deactivated in the interim, the customer will not qualify for, or receive, the promotion.

Procedure

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Click Marketing > Promotions. The Promotions window displays, containing a list of the currently defined promotions.
  3. Select the check box to the left of the promotion and click Activate or Deactivate. The promotion will be activated or deactivated on the production server.
