Subscriptions and recurring orders allow retailers to sell subscription-based offerings and shoppers to place recurring orders online.

Benefits of subscriptions and recurring orders

  • Customers being able to create, cancel, and reorder recurring orders without assistance increases customer self-service and reduces customer service expenses.
  • Increased revenue and customer loyalty through recurring orders creating automatic repeat orders.
  • Making multiple orders is now painless and easy for customers.

Limitations of Subscriptions and Recurring Orders

  • No buy online pickup in store support.
  • No Sales Center support.
  • A subscription product cannot be purchased as part of a recurring order.
  • A subscription product cannot also be available as a recurring order.
  • Only the pay by card payment method is supported, although all Payments are displayed in Storefront.
  • A non-recurring free gift cannot be added to a recurring order.
