Changing the Configuration Manager color scheme

The color scheme for Configuration Manager does not change when you change the color scheme of your operating system. If you have changed the color scheme of your operating system and want the color scheme of Configuration Manager to match the color scheme of your operating system, you can manually change the color scheme of Configuration Manager. Once it is set in this tool, it is always set, unless you manually change it again.

Procedure

  1. Open the Configuration Manager.
  2. From the Settings menu, select UI Settings. The UI Settings dialog opens.
  3. From the File menu, select Open. You can now select one of the more popular settings, High Contrast Black or High Contrast White, depending on your preference. Or, from the Customs list, you can select from any of the potential settings.
  4. Click Apply. Respond to any dialogs that appear.
  5. For your changes to take effect, you must restart Configuration Manager:
    1. Select Console > Exit to exit Configuration Manager.
    2. Restart Configuration Manager by following step 1.
