Job Properties

The final stage of the setup is defining Job properties.

Procedure

  1. Fill in the Job properties:
    • Job Name
    • Folder - where the Jon will be saved
    • Application (optional)
    • Test Policy (select one)
    • Description (optional)
    • Contact (optional)
  2. Select scan type:
    Option If there is no Manual Explore data... If there is Manual Explore data...
    Full Scan Explore and Test the site using this configuration. Explore and Test the site using this configuration, including the Manual Explore data.
    Explore Only Explore the site using this configuration, but do not test it. Explore the site automatically, using this configuration, and add the results to those of the Manual Explore. Do not test the site.
    Test Only Disabled. Applies only when Manual Explore or Multi-Step Operations are configured. Test the site using the results of the Manual Explore or Multi-Step Operations only. Do not Explore the site automatically.
  3. Two check boxes let you:
    • Run job now
    • Open the browser on ASE Console page and close client
  4. If you have Administrator privileges in AppScan® Enterprise you can now configure Additional Job Setup.
  5. Click Create/Update Job.

    The job is created/updated in AppScan Enterprise.
